2013 Province of the Year (First Update)

FOR THE SCORING SYSTEM, PLEASE GO TO
THIS BLOG POST:

For our first update for the Province of the Year, it becomes very obvious that the province of Pampanga takes the lead due to Archie Manalili and Marky Fernando who won the Hari ng Pilipinas 2013 and Ginoong Filipinas 2013 respectively. The addition of Jonas Mariano who was awarded Ginoong Filipinas Visayas 2013 even pushed their points so high at 280 points! (100 points + 100 points +  80 points).

Cebu and Laguna tied at the third spot. The silent surprise in this first update is the inclusion of the province of Pangasinan. While the candidates from this province did not win any major title, they send strong delegates who managed to score well. Myles Palisoc was Ginoong Filipinas Turismo 2013, Neil Reyes was Hari ng Luzon 2013, and Chester Asi was Ginoong Filipinas Mindanao 2013. Thus, Pangasinan placed second with 240 points (80 points + 80 points + 80 points).
