BS Criminology Student Won Manhunt International Philippines 2013

In a sudden twist of events, the Manhunt International Philippines 2013 ended with a surprise winner. Jamiel Ventosa from the Municipality of Sta. Rosa, Nueva Ecija brought home the title of Philippine Manhunt and won the right to represent the country in the next Manhunt International. Ventosa is into basketball and modeling and at present, he is taking up BS Criminology in Wesleyan University. In the pageant, he also won 2 special awards: Best in Runway and Best in Formal Wear. 

Justine Hizon of Pampanga  and Renz Maun won first runner up and second runner up respectively. Another crowd favorite and the winner of 4 special awards, Rommel Torres settled for the Top 6. Torres was the winner of Manhunt Nueva Ecija few weeks back and was the one expected to win the national contest. But sad to say, he did not really go very close to the title. In the Manhunt page today, he congratulated Ventosa and told him that he deserved the title. What a humble guy!

In the next few weeks, we shall see Ventosa preparing for the international pageant. I noticed that he has so many bashers already, but hey, let us give our representative all the support he deserves. Remember, he will be representing our nation. Let us not pull him down.
