Nicko dela Cruz posted in his fb page this message the
day after he won as first runner up in Misters of the Philippines 2014:
“I would like to say thank you to all the people who believed and supported
me till the end. Thank you so much for all the efforts and thank you GOD
above for making this win possible. I learned a lot of things; made new friends
and build a good relationship with my co- candidates and organizers. This will
be the happiest and memorable moment of my life. I offer this win to all of
you. Thank you everyone.”
Standing at 5’11, Nicko is a 23 year old multimedia
artist and video editor who loves playing basketball and also makes sure to
stay fit by going to the gym regularly! He was urged by a friend to join
Bodyshots 2014 and it’s his first time to compete in a model search of this
magnitude. It was also his first time to walk in the runway during the recent
Philippine Fashion Week where he modeled for Nardi Press and Ulysses King.
We all know how important the role of the first runner
up is. In the event that the winners will not be able to compete or is
dethroned, the first runner up shall be the one to take over.
