Rank #1. John Spainhour is this
year’s Hottest in the 2014 Philippine Male Pageants! He was appointed by Cory
Quirino to represent the Philippines in Mister World 2014.
John was born in South Carolina, USA,
growing up in Manila, Philippines. Describing himself as “Disciplined,
hardworking and dedicated” John is a former Marine Corp Scout Sniper. Since
finishing his service, he has worked as a fashion model, and is looking for new
opportunities and adventures to pursue. In his spare time he likes to be in the
outdoors, going camping, snowboarding and hiking. He is also a scuba diver and
likes to play video games.
Spainhour placed among the top 10 in
the extreme physical challenge. He was second in bowling in the sports
challenge, and his group won best team overall at the trials. But with stiff
competition with candidates from 45 other countries, he failed to make the top
10. But despite that, he carried our country's name with pride and I'm very
proud of him because he worked really hard and he was such a nice guy.
Regardless of the result, Spainhour is grateful for the experience and the
support. “To all the people in the Philippines, and all the people that
supported me, my fans and everyone, thank you so much for all the support. You
guys are amazing,” he said.
