Perhaps many of you have not moved on yet on the
sudden and surprising non-inclusion of Mister Turkey Eray Aydos at the recently
concluded Mister International won by our own bet Neil Perez. While we rejoiced
at our representative’s victory, many pageant netizens were taken aback that
the handsome Eray Aydos was nowhere to be found in the top 15.
He is good looking, has a symmetrical face, good body,
flawless skin. What went wrong? For such a natural head-turner, how can he be
excluded from being selected?
Some of those who interacted during the pageant
explained to me why. They said that he was such a beautiful face, body and all –
but Eray was having difficulty communicating with the candidates because he
cannot speak English. That is why, later during the competition most of his
photos that came out – he looked reserved, quiet – just like the typical nice
man.
Oh well, let us now move on. It already happened and
we wish Eray Aydos all the best in his future endeavors! Filipinos love him!
