Camille Franco of Barangay
Malpitic and Edgar Panlilio of Barangay Baliti were crowned as this year’s
Mutya at Lakan ning San Fernando respectively. Both Franco, 18 and Panlilio,
20, bested 12 other contenders during the coronation night on Sunday held at
the SM City Pampanga Event Center. Aside from being the title holder, Malpitic
lass also bagged Ms. Congeniality and Mutya ning Kalikasan awards. Her runners
up were Arianne Desiree Viardo of Barangay Dolores (1st runner-up) and Jhen
Maica Valencia of Barangay Saguin (2nd runner-up).
Meanwhile, joining Panlilio
on Top 3 were Karl Kevin Tallorin of Barangay San Juan and Joshua Nathaniel De
Jesus of Barangay San Isidro who placed 1st and 2nd runners-up, respectively. In
his speech, Mayor Edwin ‘EdSa’ Santiago said he is proud of all the candidates
who made it to the finals.
In December, Franco will
represent the City of San Fernando in the search for Mutya ning Kapampangan.
Panlilio, on the other hand, will compete for Lakan ning Sinukwan.
