There are actors who made male pageants as their
stepping stone
To make it into the showbusiness, Lemuel Pelayo is one of
them:
Lemuel Pelayo. Remember the McDonald commercial
“Pa-burger ka naman!”? He was the hot guy who said that. Remember also the
Voice Combo ad “Bukas ang zipper mo?” Yes, he was the guy with an open zipper.
When he joined the Mossimo 2009, he
became one of the favorites to win because of the strong recall of his
commercials. Besides, he was already a seasoned Bench fashion and ramp model
under Mercator. He had a college degree to boast to, having graduated at the
Lyceum University with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management.
He made it as a finalist, and the equally handsome
candidate Jiro Shirakawa won the title. Lemuel eventually landed landed into a
leading role in Daisy Siete, a GMA program. Today, he is very much active in
the different shows under the Kapamilya network.
