Filipinas to select not a very tall winner but definitely very handsome.

DENVER OLIVAREZ OF CAVITE
GINOONG FILIPINAS 2007
Denver Olivarez, also know as Dennis Barrion, was
dethroned by organizers of the Ginoong Pilipinas apparently for behavioral and
personal issues. He was a graduate of Ateneo de Manila (Math Major). He also
dropped out of Ateneo Law school [some scoop he was kicked out of the Ateneo
Law School] and set out to pursue a modeling and acting career.

ROGER SALINAS OF PANGASINAN
GINOONG FILIPINAS 1997
The year 1997 was probably
one of the most unforgettable year for the Ginoong Filipinas. Roger Salinas was
sent to Los Angeles, California in November 1997 for the Mister Asia Universe.
He won and Roger dedicated his victory to the Filipino people, his family and
the organizers.

JORELLE DELA CRUZ OF PANGASINAN
GINOONG FILIPINAS 2012
Tall, mestizo and dashing with good looks , Jorelle dela
Cruz easily towered over his co-competitors and even edging over the known
favorites and cuties. It was a very stiff competition since that year, the
candidates were superbly selected and so all the candidates were really
deserving for the title. However, Jorelle was the one blest among them.

BOBBY YABUT OF MANILA
GINOONG FILIPINAS 2000
At the turn of the millennium, the “Lakan ng Kalakhang
Maynila” was founded. It was the time when a local contest around Greater
Manila Area was organized to select the representative for the national pageant.
Bobby Yabut who was originally from Isabela but was studying in Sampaloc,
Manila won and triumphantly bagged the Ginoong Filipinas 2000 title. He was one
of most applauded candidate and so it was very clear from the beginning that
the title was really intended for him.

ARJAY JOHN MONES FROM MAKATI CITY
GINOONG FILIPINAS 2005
One
of the tallest winners in the history of Ginoong Filipinas, he stands 6 flat. He
was one of the favorites from the beginning because he was known for making it
as a finalist in the Bodyshots modeling contest in 2004. He went on to become a
calendar boy for a nude pictorial. He was also offered to appear in a porn
video called “Manila Exposed” but he declined.
