Mister International is an annual male beauty pageant founded in 2006. It
is owned and organized by the Mister
Singapore Organization which also organizes the annual Mister Singapore pageant. Since the first edition, 69 countries
have sent their representative to this contest, with an annual average of 29
contestants.
Since its birth in 2006,
the Philippines has been sending great candidates for the pageant. We only
missed this contest once when local organizers in 2007 were
confronted by problems and failed to send Ian
Leonel Porlagayan, the Philippine delegate, to the international
competition.
The highest placement for the Philippines is in February 2015 when Neil Perez, a policeman from Tondo, Manila won the 2014 edition in South Korea. He is the first winner from the new franchise PEPP (Prime Events Productions Philippines) Foundation Inc. that launched the Misters of the Philippines.
