FOURTH MOST HANDSOME GINOONG FILIPINAS WINNER IS:

JOHN ARSENIO ERQUIZA OF PANGASINAN

 GINOONG FILIPINAS 2010

The 21^st edition of the Ginoong Filipinas  was held on May 26, 2010 at the Metro Bar in West Avenue in Quezon City. During the finals, the pageant showcased three different skimpy swimwear -- in fuschia, orange and skin tone. This year was filled with several questions because half of the candidates who gamely dipped, climbed out of the pool and had their picture taken in wet, flimsy undies were surprisingly absent. Only 17 candidates showed up during the finals. But as the saying goes, the show must go on. The most favored contestant was John Arsenio Erquiza, 5’11 in height, 18-year-old Pangasinense with a good-enough singing voice. He was chosen by judges, many of whom were also the event’s sponsors, who incidentally outnumbered the contestants. He received a total cash of fifty thousand pesos for winning the title. The following year, he tried his luck in another male pageant, Sexiest Man in the City 2011, but he did not win. John eventually entered showbusiness and is now a talent of GMA7.
