Pinoy Police Wins Mister International!

In less than a month after the Mamasapano Massacre, another police made it to the headlines! Mister Philipines Neil Perez – 25 years old and 179 cm tall – who hails from Manila won Mister International 2014/2015 in Seoul, South Korea.

Neil was assigned to the Airport Security Group (ASG) before winning the national pageant. He also took time off for training. During his send-off,  he said he was dedicating his victory to the SAF (Special Action Force) 44: ““I am offering this fight to them, as I condole with their families. I would also like to thank the [Philippine National Police] for the support they are giving me in this endeavor outside the force.”

He presented himself well during the three areas of judging – National Costume, Swimwear and Formal Wear. He was also third runner Best in Costume and was the last to be called in the top 10. He is the second Filipino to win Mister International, but the first one - that of Alexander Aquino in 2001 was of a different franchise. Alexander’ victory is that of Grasim – Indian franchise. Neil’s victory is of a Singaporean founder named Allan Sim.
