I have said in many of my posts that bikini open competitions will really be here to stay and whether I/you like it or not, they will be thriving side by side with male pageant competitions. Here, I would like to give tribute to the veterans who caught my eyes, for so many reasons, thus the post is entitled:

ALLEN MOLINA: Icon of Lifetime Achievement

 Allen Molina is the Icon of Lifetime Achievement.  From the very first time he joined, he has always been a consistent winner. He was Mister Summer Bodies 2015 Grand Winner, Mister Philippine Bodies 2014 Grand Winner, Shobi 2014 Grand Winner (Also Mister Flawless), King of the Ramp 2014 Grand Winner, Fabmale Manila 2014 Grand Winner, Lakan ng Daragang Magayon 2014 Grand Winner, Mister Sexy Body 2014 Grand Winner, Mister Summer Heat Bodies 2014 Grand Winner, Bongabon Nueva Ecija Bikini Open 2013 Grand Winner, Mister Candon Body Shots 2013 Grand Winner, The Ultimate One 2013 Grand Winner, Mister Subic Bodies 2013 Grand Winner (Also Best in Costume, Best in Lingerie Wear, Best in White Bikini, Dr. V.’s Choice, Hot Legs, Mister E. MARK SALAZAR: Icon of One-sided Bikini

 Mark Salazar. Icon of One-Sided Bikini. When he don this one-side bikini in Mister Sexy Manila 2013, it was a very brave act – and I really critized it, almost to the point of calling him downer words. But hey, several candidates followed him – from Richard Carlos to Aeron Cruz to Johnrell Toshikiro recently. But the bad news is that – the ones who wear this kind of bikini do not win.

ALBERT GONZALES: Icon of Pouch Bikini

 Albert Gonzales. Icon of Pouch Bikini. It was first of its kind in the bikini industry when he wore it at the Ginoo ng Daragang Magayon Bikini Open and Albert brought the house down. The good news is that – he won. Let’s wait for the copycats.

ALLEN MOLINA AND RICHARD SOLANO: Icon of Best Duo.

  Allen Molina and Richard Solano. Icon of Best Duo in Bikini Open. Mestizo and Moreno. Moreno and Mestizo. Milk and Choco. Choco and Milk. When they are together on stage, they simply make us realize that our country is indeed an island of many colors – and we love diversity!

RICHARD SOLANO: Icon of Pleasing Personality

 Richard Solano. Icon of Pleasing Personality. I have so many bikini open friends in facebook. In all of them, I find Richard to be the most pleasing. He loves his family (super!), he is very down to earth and he is into business, knowing that bikini open is not a lifetime career. He doesn’t trash talk in his posts, doesn’t quarrel with anyone – which makes me convinced that he is really of good manners and right conduct.

CEPTER AL-MIGUEL MANICLANG: Icon of Longevity

Cepter Al-Miguel Maniclang. Icon of Longevity. He first surfaced in Ginoong Filipinas 2008, and from there, he remains active in many bikini open competitions until today. Thus, a record of 7 years, and counting!
