A rousing send-off press conference was held
at the Bykes, Lancaster Hotel in Mandaluyong City for Karan Singhdole last
Wednesday afternoon. Despite bad weather, there was bright and warm mood as
PEPPs family and friends gave their best wishes to Karan as he is let to leave
today for Indonesia to compete in the inaugural Man of the Year search.
Karan was born in the Philippines to both
Indian parents but is 100% Filipino by heart. A
member of PMAP, he was hand-picked for the the title.
PEPPs is the franchise holder of the Man of
the Year title and it's President Carlo Morris
Galang reiterated their full support and best wishes to Karan.
Karan for his part said that he is confident
and will give his best during the duration of the competition. When asked he is
feel pressured because of the recent win of Indian men in Mr. World and Mister
United Continents competitions, he said that he is competing as a Filipino and
will showcase the best of the Philippines in the competition.
Karan's national costume created by award
winning designer Edwin Uy was also
presented to the media. He will be wearing Olan Roque for
swimwear and Francis Libiran for formal wear.

International Philippines 2016 Don Mcgyver Cochico, PEPPs sponsors and officers
graced the event.Giving their support to Karan are Jaime Acosta
of Psalmstre New Placenta, UniSilver and Cosmetologie.
PEPPs Vice-President and sought after events designer Jhune Salud designed and made preparation for the send-off venue while Aski Pascual hosted the event.
Best of Luck Karan and bring home the Man of
the Year Title.
