Mister Sexy Body Gen Trias 2013

Mister Sexy Body Gen Trias 2013 is packed with veterans in the bikini pageant world. First, here is Paolo San Miguel who was a major upset this year for his non-inclusion in the Ginoong Filipinas 2013. Then, there is also Richard Carlos whose facebook status seems to envy some of Bembem Kho’s other talents, (or is only a case of paglalambing)? Another in this pageant is controversial talent John Miguel Abuzo who won the SHOBI 2012. Ginoong Filipinas 2013 runner up Louise Perez and Bathala Bikini Open 2013 winner Richard Solano also competed in this pageant.

Regarding the Mr. Lotus 2013 Scandal

Last month, I blogged about the Mr. Lotus 2013 controversy during the Q and A portion where the eventual first runner up was asked about what comes first – chicken or egg.

A reader of this blog narrated to me that the guy actually answered this way: He raised his hand to get the attention of the audience para makasagot sya and then he said:

"hindi naman sa pagiging bastos, nauna po ang itlog...bakit? dahil nilikha ng diyos si adan.....at anu po bang meron kay adan?.......”

(audiences were clapping so loud) then he continued his answer...

“yun po kaya nauna po ang itlog kaysa manok...."

I thank the reader who gave me that comment. It is always nice to hear from my dear blog followers! I love reading comments! However, the issue I would like to raise is not really about how he answered the question. The point I had been raising and will raise once again is the sense and rightness of the answer. I mentioned it in my first post, and now I will mention it again:  In the story of Creation, it is very clear that the chicken came first. God first created the animals before He created the first man. Adam was only created on the 6^th day when everything has been created.

Therefore, the answer is obviously very wrong. Perhaps the judges did not know about it. Or that they were aware of it and gave him a low score, thus the first runner up, and not the eventual winner. The judges saved themselves by giving the title to Roppie Eusebio, the Mister Lotus 2013.

The Winner in the Battle of Campus Crushes!

Roppie Eusebio was declared Mr. Lotus 2013.

In the battle of campus crushes in Cavite,

He emerged victorious.

We congratulated him and wished him

Luck in his next endeavors.

We also hope that he try national pageants next time.

Mr. Lotus 2013 Controversy

I just could not explain it. I saw several updates about the Mr. Lotus 2013 but I didn’t feel the drive to blog about the pageant. By the way, this pageant, dubbed as “Battle of Campus Crushes,” was a search for pretty Caviteño's from 16-22 years of age.

 While I have already decided not to blog about the pageant, a recent event prompted me to change my mind. This is about their highly criticized Q and A portion with a candidate who ended up as first runner up in the contest. My source gave me this text:

Q: Ano ang mas nauna itlog o manok?

The contestant answered:

Syempre itlog po,sino po ba ang naunang tao sa mundo?

Di ba si Adan at si Eva,ano meron kay Adan? Di ba itlog? Un po.

The contestant ended up as a first runner up.  My take on the issue. While the decision of the judges is always final and irrevocable, I wonder how did the judges rate the contestant’s answer. While the answer was very witty, it was very, very wrong. While he wanted to ground his answer on Biblical grounds, it fell short! Because in the story of Creation, it is very clear that the chicken came first. God first created the animals before He created the first man.
