Hari ng Luzon: The Original

Hari ng Luzon was the original! Before Hari ng Pilipinas, there was the Hari ng Luzon. Its prepageant was held in Bed Bar Makati on August 18, 2012. Twenty-one handsome hunks competed for the title.  The coronation night was on August 25.

Favorites for the title were Kierwin Lozano (Ginoong Filipinas-Luzon 2012), Ronnie Toribio (SHOBI 2011 Second Runner Up), JM Martinez, Neil Reyes, Tamaki Masuda but it was tall, brown and handsome Jaydan Lapira who brought home the bacon. 

Interestingly, Neil Reyes, who was unplaced, resurfaced the following year at the Hari ng Pilipinas and clinched the title Hari ng Luzon. The Hari ng Pilipinas was won by Archie Manalili, another male pageant veteran.

September 29, Feast of the Archangels

September 29 is the Feast of the Archangels

according to the Roman Catholic Church.

The most popular are St. Michael, St. Gabriel and St. Raphael.

In the world of pageantry, many male candidates loved becoming angels too.

 In every contest, no matter how many the strong contenders are,

it doesn't matter.

In the end, there shall only be one winner.

Who won the Bangus King 2013?

I was really wondering why the pages that promoted the Bangus King 2013

did not update us anymore who won this contest.

Why am I eager to know who won?

Because it has Themothy Schneider, a pageant veteran.

It also has Ronnie Toribio, Hari ng Luzon 2012 first runner up.

And it has Cepter, John Paul and Riez John Fil who are Ginoong Filipinas alumni.

After the much - celebrated runner up finish of Venus Raj at the 

Miss Universe few years back,

several male pageant candidates also tried

to copy his Fadil shot, and oh boy, many of them tried it.
