Gil Wagas occupies the 6^th spot in the 50 Hottest in Philippine Male Pageants. Undeniably, he is the most famous among the many pageant candidates this year in our country. Not only that, aside from bringing fourth runner up honor to the Philippines in Mister International 2013, his duties also elevated the male pageants in the country on the level of their beauty queen counterparts: he has lots of guest appearances, photoshoots and invitations.

Cebu has been known for sending strong competitors in the field of male pageants. In fact, Cebu had a back-to-back win in Ginoong Filipinas 1994 and 1995. When Cebu sent its first ever delegate for Ginoong Filipinas in 1994, Jeram Lumbab was the hands-down winner. The representative the following year, Mark Cyrill Katada also duplicated the victory for Cebu in Ginoong Filipinas 1995.

Last year’s representative for Mister International 2013, Gil Wagas also also from Cebu. He represented Lapu-Lapu City in Mister International Philippines.
