Hari ng Luzon: The Original

Hari ng Luzon was the original! Before Hari ng Pilipinas, there was the Hari ng Luzon. Its prepageant was held in Bed Bar Makati on August 18, 2012. Twenty-one handsome hunks competed for the title.  The coronation night was on August 25.

Favorites for the title were Kierwin Lozano (Ginoong Filipinas-Luzon 2012), Ronnie Toribio (SHOBI 2011 Second Runner Up), JM Martinez, Neil Reyes, Tamaki Masuda but it was tall, brown and handsome Jaydan Lapira who brought home the bacon. 

Interestingly, Neil Reyes, who was unplaced, resurfaced the following year at the Hari ng Pilipinas and clinched the title Hari ng Luzon. The Hari ng Pilipinas was won by Archie Manalili, another male pageant veteran.

Where are You, Jaydan Lapira?

Jaydan Lapira once posted in his facebook account that he will be far away for a while. Indeed, it  was not a joke on his part. Until now, we have not heard anything from him, and oh, we miss him. We hope he will be back soon in the male pageant circuit.

 

Swimwear Competition: Powerbox Summerbodies Gym 2013

Clappers at the Mister Subic Bodies 2013?

 In every contest, no matter how many the strong contenders are,

it doesn't matter.

In the end, there shall only be one winner.
