is worth P5,000 as a special award and will get the chance to advance to the
top 12 semi-finalists of Mister Mindanao 2013.
Here are some words from him:
A pleasant ‘hello’ to all of you!
I am Nikko Salvador, 19 years of age. I am from the Queen City of the
South, General Santos City. I currently live with my mother and two
siblings. I am the second child in our family after my elder brother and
before my younger sister.
I currently study at Notre Dame of Dadiangas University, taking up Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Management,
at the third year level. I am formerly an Entrepreneurship student. As a
Marist Student, the Blessed Virgin Mary is our role model of
simplicity, humility, and chastity, in which are the values I follow.
I am a spontaneous person. I like fun activities that will help me
learn and discover stuff about myself and my hidden talents and skills. I
like hanging out with friends. I love music of different genres and
artists. I am also a ‘foodie’. I like discovering new food paradises in
the local scene. On the other hand, I also enjoy photography as an art
and as a hobby. Sometimes I am the model, but most of the time, I am the
photographer.
I also believe in my city, General Santos. It
is not only my home; it is my place of hope and prosperity. As I love my
own place, I am also a proud Mindanaoan, those love for thy self, made
me a patriot, not only to Mindanao but also to the Philippines. I can
call myself a proud General, a Minadaoan, and a Filipino.
My
inspirations for joining this event, the Mister and Mindanao Pageant,
are my family and friends. They are the people who believe in my
capabilities, they are the people who accept my limitations, and they
are the people who love me despite of my weaknesses.
If I will become the Mister Mindanao 2013, I will serve as an inspiration to me fellow Mindanaoans.
God bless Mindanao!
