Let's Support our Rep for Mister Campus World 2013!
Roland William de Dios, a twenty-three year old model from Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija is the Official Male Philippine Entry to the first-ever Mister and Miss Campus World Pageant to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from December 3 to 5, 2013. His Female counterpart is Maria Isabel Z. Mendoza a coed from San Beda College Manila.
They will take part in the pageant which aims to promote youth empowerment and recognize the role of student as equal partners in development.
“I’m very much honored and blessed to be chosen as the Philippine Representative to the pageant, this is my very first time to travel outside our country and I promise to do my very best and bring honor and pride not just to my family and friends but for our country as well,” said William at the Official Media Launch last Thursday, November 28, 2013 of Runway for Hope Year 2 (A Charity Fashion Gala for Yolanda Victim) at Urban Spoon Restaurant in Quezon City where he voluntary lend his time in giving support to the project.
The 6’0 tall BS Education Major at Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology is a proud son of Mr. Rolando de Dios and Rosario Ayalde. Growing up in an impoverished environment did not deter him to pursue his dreams and ambition. He was a five-time Most Valuable Player (MVP) at the Local League in Nueva Ecija and had participated in a 42K Milo Marathon and placed 2nd Over All Finisher.
In his free time, he dabbles in reading books, newspapers and magazines to keep him abreast on current happenings around him. In the future, as he finish his College Education, William wants to venture into Business that will enable him to help his family and siblings.
But for now, his time and energy are focused in his forthcoming International Competition. “Everything happens for a reasons, I’m thankful to all those people who believe in me and give their unconditional love and support, the best that I could do is to represent our country well, God is on my side as I compete and whatever the final outcome will be, I feel like a winner already, Maraming Salamat po sa inyong lahat!“ William humbly ends.
