The candidates of the Mr. and Miss Olive-C
Campus Model Search 2014 for Luzon were presented to the press at the Fisher
Mall in Quezon City last April 12, 2014, Saturday. With their electric energy,
26 young individuals all over the country displayed their stunning and charming
beauty in front of the flashing cameras and scrutinizing eyes of media, pageant
bloggers and sponsors.
The candidates have been going intensive training in modeling, personality development and how to handle questions from press people. The press presentation is just one of the many activities that have been keeping these young individuals busy until the coronation night on May 30, 2014 at the Skydome in SM North.
Mr. and Ms. Olive-C is the only national pageant for teens that harrowed the whole Philippines in search for the most promising male and female teens to be the next Olive-C model/ambassador. Regional competitions were held in key cities like Cebu, Davao, Bacolod, Nueva Ecija, and Rizal to complete the official candidates of Mr. and Ms. Olive-c Model Search finalists.
These most promising teens came from premiere universities and colleges in the country such as university of the East, Far Eastern University, Arellano University, St. Paul College, Lyceum of the Philippines, Polytechnic University of the Philippines and University of the Philippines to name a few.
Now on its 4th year, Olive-C has proven its track record in giving opportunities to these young individuals to make it big in showbiz and modeling industry. Some of the successful alumni of Mr. and Ms. Olive-C who have been making waves in showbiz, modeling and pageant world are teen star Hiro Magalona-Peralta of GMA 7, Ms. Philippines Earth-Water 2011 Muriel Orais, Ms. Supranational 2013 Mutya Johanna Datul and Star Magic’s John Lucas.
Pre-pageant competition such as festive Costumes, Talent Night and Summer Wear are scheduled in may following other activities like charity work, fashion show, Sagala, TV and Radio guesting and sponsors visit.
