Get Ready for Misters of Filipinas 2016

Prime Events Productions Philippines Foundation Inc (PEPPS) formally launched Misters of Filipinas 2016 in front of partners, sponsors and the media last April 22 at House Manila, Remington Hotel in Pasay City.

Carlo Morris Galang, president and CEO of PEPPS, said the trade launch was held to show that "we are one pageant, one team and one advocacy."

The titles at stake for this year's competition are: Mister Globe Philippines, Man of the Year Philippines, Manhunt International Philippines, Mister International Philippines and Man of the World Philippines.

Karan Singhdole (Man of the Year Philippine 2015), Don McGyver Cochico (Manhunt Philippines 2015), AR Dela Serna (Misters 2015 first runner-up), Nicko Dela Cruz (Misters 2014 first runner-up) and Christian Mark Galang (Mister Asia Philippines 2014) were present in the event.

PEPPS, through its director for legal affairs Richard Montoya, also clarified certain issues facing the organization.

A fashion show and party titled Midsummer Night followed the launch. The show featured the Resorts World Manila Collections as well as the creations of Outkast Paradigm, San Diego Fab, Xioti Chiu, Jacob Casem, Bobby Galang, Santino Rivera and Olan Roque.

Male Pageants in the Philippines

Issa Janda for Mister United Continents 2016

The 20-year-old, 6’2″ tall model from Polangui, Albay will represent the country at the Mister United Continents 2016 pageant to be held in Manila in July. Janda also won Best in Physique and Best in Kasuotang Pinoy.

Virgilio Llego, 22, from Argao, Cebu won Mr Real Universe Philippines 2016. He will compete at the Mr Real Universe 2016 competition in Guayaquil, Ecuador in November.

Davao’s Jay Daniel Chuong, 23, was named Mr Imperial Universe Philippines 2016 and will fly out to Puerto Rico for the Mr Imperial Universe 2016 competition this May.

Winning the Mr Global Nations 2016 title is 20-year-old Kevin Dale Jovellano from Cotabato City. He will compete in October at the 2016 Mr Global Nations pageant.

Mr Asia World Philippines 2016 is Angeles City’s Jaymark Quintana. The 25-year-old model will represent the country at the Mr Asia World 2016 pageant in Toronto, Canada in August.

Pampanga’s Jade Anthony Dulay, 22, was named International Magnificent Supermodel Philippines 2016 and will compete at the International Magnificent Supermodel 2016 competition in Melbourne, Australia in September. He was also awarded Mr Photogenic.

Neil Kervin Regis, 23, from Malasigui, Pangasinan won International Top Model of the Year Philippines 2016 and will compete in Malaysia in August for the International Top Model of the Year 2016 competition.

The runners-up were: Mark Carluz Guiuo of Nueva Eciija (MUCP Luzon), Jerson Corullo of Guinobatan, Albay (MUCP Visayas) and Celso Salon Jr of Camiguin (MUCP Mindanao).

Rene Sagrado of Lanao del Norte and Joeser Sinfuego of Baao, Camarines Sur completed the Top 12 finalists.

Special awards went to Mr Camiguin (Mr Online Popularity and Best in Advocacy Presentation); Mr Baao, Camarines Sur (Best In Talent); Mr Lanao del Norte (Best in Sports Challenge); Mr Nueva Ecija (Best in Social Media); and Mr Agusan del Norte (Mr Friendship).

Mr Global Canada 2016 Jin Stewart sat as one of the judges.
