Advocacy Review: Mister Candaba
MISTER UNITED CONTINENTS PHILIPPINES -CANDABA: RICARDO
DE JESUS
VIDEO PRESENTATION: 2:52 minutes
ADVOCACY: JOBS FOR THE YOUTH
OBSERVATION: Ricardo delivers his piece in a flawless
Tagalog inside a big building with skyscrapers in the background. He made
mention of the Philippine scenario where many young people graduated from
school but find it hard to look for a job, and many went underemployed. He
reveals that he is a working student, thus a fitting advocacy he supports is
the advocacy that there will be jobs available for the youth.
CONTENTWISE, I am very certain that he knows his
advocacy very well. It is something that interests him and fuels him to do even
better for other people. Ricardo’s advocacy is one example of an advocacy which
is not detached from day to day life. His is an example of lived advocacy.
ALL IN ALL, It was good. If I am jobless and I’m
looking for a job, I’ll certainly call him.
